1) Install Security updates- these should be updated on a regular basis.
2) Install antivirus software... and make sure it is activated- you don't want
any sites corrupting your computer!
3) Install a firewall- This can protect your computer from unauthorized access
from hackers.
4) Trust your instincts… If something seems too good to be true, or way too
low of a price, chances are it is a scam.
5) Do your homework- If you are in doubt, research the Better Business Bureau
(BBBOnLine) to make sure the online retailers have a proven record of
satisfying customers.
